Fall 2012 New Tenant Information
Check ins will be Thursday, September 6th from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. If you are arriving late on Friday night your key will be available in an Envelope, with your name on it, by the office door.
ROOMING ASSIGNMENTS:
Roommate Assignments will be emailed 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the Semester. However you will receive your FINAL apartment assignment on the day you check in. Unfortunately things change and you may not be in the apartment that you are expecting. We do our best to fulfill everyone’s requests, but sometimes we simply cannot fulfill ALL requests. Please speak to a manager if you are concerned.
SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING:
Our apartments are considered “furnished”, however there are some items that we do not furnish and that you will likely need to make your stay here more comfortable. The following is a suggested list of items that you will likely need.
- High Efficiency Liquid Laundry Soap (ONLY)
- Ethernet Cord
- 3M Command Hooks
- Linens, blankets, pillow, mattress pad for your bed
- Due to Past Renovations
- Women 401-405, 501-505 & 601-605 – Twin-XL sheets
- Men & New Women – Twin regular sheets
- Due to Past Renovations
- Microwave safe dishes, pots pans and other cookware
- Utensils for cooking and eating
- Small appliances
- Dish cloths, washcloths, towels, hot pads, etc.
- Garbage cans for kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom
- Cleaning supplies (Click for the Recommended List)
- Shower Curtain
- First Aid Supplies
- Personal Toiletries
- Iron (Ironing board is provided)
- Laundry Basket
- Alarm Clock
We Suggest purchasing most of your necessities at the Dollar Store.
MAIL:
Your address is 175 W. 5th S. Apt#_____, Rexburg, ID 83440. USPS Letters & Packages will be delivered to your mailbox that is located in the Clubhouse. Over-sized USPS Packages will be in the Office & you will be notified, of their delivery, by email. FedEx & UPS Packages will be delivered to your apartment.
RESIDENT PORTAL:
Your resident portal will be of use to you throughout the semester. You will use it to make payments, submit maintenance requests, change your personal information, etc. To set it up go to the Resident Portal. At the bottom of the page you will select SIGN UP. Make sure you use the preferred email you originally signed up with. If you need help logging on, please let us know!
OTHER ITEMS OF NOTE:
- Please know that you are not allowed to have bikes inside the apartment. We have plenty of bike racks to lock them up. (The tires are not made for carpet and can ruin it)
- The use of nails, screws, tacks or double stick tape on your walls or anywhere else in the apartment is prohibited. All holes will be charged $5.00 per hole! Please find other ways to decorate. (3M Command Hooks work great!)
- Many of the things needed could be shared between roommates. We suggest splitting the cost for shared items and picking them up when you get here.
- Rent is due upon arrival. If you need to make a payment plan, please speak with a manager.

We are always asked, How fast is your internet? To answer that, we put it to the test! Of ‘course the speed always changes depending on its current use, but we got 16.29 Mbps!

Arden’s Surprise Birthday Party
Arden (our maintenance manager) was not wanting all the attention, but we couldn’t resist sharing our gratitude for how well he keeps Nauvoo House running. The management (Shannon & Liz) organized a potato bar dinner and integrated a surprise birthday party for Arden. Everyone who came had a great time. MINUTE to WIN IT
12 Apartments were ultimately eliminated leaving 1 that Won It in a Minute!!
Apartments competed in events including:
All in attendance were entered into a drawing for Jamba Juice, Little Ceasars, and Great Harvest Gift Certificates.
The Runner Up Apartment won a Pizza Party and the Grad Prize was the “Old” Lounge TV!!

Nauvoo Idol!
This years Nauvoo Idol was an awesome display of the talent here at Nauvoo! Performances included renditions of popular songs to self written masterpieces! The competition was tough but in the end our Nauvoo Idol is Joel, followed close behind by Steffen & Chris! Congratulations Guys!
Thank you to all our finalists for having the courage to show off your amazing talent!
A special thanks to Amy and Leanna for their efforts in coordinating this wonderful evening! It would not have been a success without them!
